Welcome to the official website celebrating the 70th Anniversary of Pont Baths!
Pontllanfraith Open Air Swimming Baths celebrates 70 years since opening on 23rd May 1938.
To commemorate this momentous occasion, a 70th Anniversary event has been organised, where a time capsule will be buried at the site of the old Baths, followed by an informal get-together at Blackwood Rugby Club.
For over 50 years, the Baths was one of the most popular venues for Valley folk for miles around, if you never attended, then you are sure to know somebody who did!
We have put together a collection of photographs, and (with your help) memories from those good old days to share with you here on this website.
